Mayweather vs. Marquez

There was a lot of hype for this fight. On one side with have the big money maker, Floyd Mayweather, undefeated and the undesputed pound for pound best fighter in the world, 5 time champion, and comming out of a 2 year retirement.
On the other side...the challenger hails from Mexico. Also best fighter in his country, best pound for pound and a rising star over some greats such as Joel Casamayor and three world championships of his own trying to make his name great and take over as the best in the world.




I really wanted to watch this match, really wanted to but I couldnt find anyone with paper view that was planing to watch it. So I missed out doing a major capture the flag ont he diag that was awesome...besides teh fact that I cant see colours and I was hopeless finding th eflag. But I did just hang out onn the enemies territory the whole time and would just play with them and many times splitting up 3, 4, sometimes 5 defenders to my escape. Classic.
But dont worry. I got the footage. I watched the fight. And wow. There was a lot of hype. And I felt bad for Marquez cause he came in working hard, but freakin Mayweather would just keep his head back and block all the rest of the shots. He did nock down Marquez once, which is amazing, but yea, I felt like he could have done so much more and maybe even made a knock out.

In the end Mayweather got the descition, kept his perfect record, and sustained the best boxer for his weaight in the world. Hoping to see him go after Pacuio later in the year. So yea, what a match, could have been a bit more, but it was pretty cool to watch the Money Maker back on the seane makin money.
...speakin of money, know when it sucks to be overweight, by even one pound? When it costs you $300,000, which was part of the contract that tehy both made. And since he was 2 pounds over weight, he owned Marquez $600,000 for 2 pounds! Not bad, eh? Considering he has a guarenteed purese of $10M, not including paper-view bonuses, sponsorships ect. Whats even more, now that the Money Maker made some money, he finally agreed to pay his taxes! Yea, all his back taxes...all $5.6M that he owns the government...so that Obama can continue his planned parenthood efforts, yay.
